Sampling is not one universal fee. Separate the physical garment, pattern work, branding or packaging sample, revision and courier scope before comparing factories.

Current reference points
For Mingsheng, an ordinary shirt sample is currently referenced at RMB 200 per piece with a typical 3–5 day timing when materials and information are ready. A custom label and packaging sample is referenced at about RMB 300 with around 14 days. These are project references, not universal prices.
Separate sample and pattern work
Ask the factory to list pattern, sample, revisions, materials, branding, packaging and courier charges. Provide a size chart, reference sample or tech pack where possible. The OEM/ODM IP and sampling guide helps define responsibilities.
Connect sample to bulk
Seal the approved sample, record the revision and confirm whether any fee credit exists. Do not assume a refund or deduction without written terms. Before production, use the sample-to-bulk consistency guide.
Request a development assessment
Mingsheng can review the materials and development route through its OEM/ODM service, with timing confirmed after the project details are complete.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can a shirt sample be revised without limit?
Mingsheng's current ordinary-sample reference allows unlimited revision discussion, but each newly made sample is charged at the applicable sample fee.
Should labels and packaging be made in the first round?
They can be scheduled after the core fit is approved when the launch plan allows; the right sequence depends on the product and timing.
Is the sample fee automatically deducted from bulk payment?
No. Any credit, trigger, order scope, amount and cancellation handling should be stated in the quotation or contract.
